We have partnered with several experts in order to build the most authentic experience possible!

Historical Accuracy: We are working with Ph.D. students specializing in Roman Classics

Where can I download your game?

Currently, SPQR is only available for limited Alpha Testers

We aim to gradually increase this number as our AI instances become more available.

Upon launch, it will be initially distributed through Steam and include a locally hosted AI option.
We are currently in discussions to launch on other platforms as well so stay tuned!

Project Timelines?

We aim to greatly expand Alpha Testers by the end of the year.
From there we hope to Beta Launch in Q1 2024.

Launches are dependent on successful prior testing. We use each phase to further refine our AI models.

This game is truly a passion project, we have no timeline for "finishing development".

Our Inspiration is Tarn and Zach Adams (Dwarf Fortress) to give you a hint of future scale.

What with the API-Key?

An API Key is a unique identifier linked to a credit card to pay for services.

Given that Alpha SPQR heavily uses online Artificial Intelligence,

Alpha users are expected to provide their own keys to play the game.
A straightforward tutorial is included on how to get your own API key.
We aim to fully implement our local-host models (no API Key required) for later releases.
